Gerald W. DiFrango, CPA, is a Vice President - Finance for SMC Business Councils ("SMC") located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Mr. DiFrango is a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting.

Mr. DiFrango's memberships include the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants and the Pittsburgh Society of Association Executives.

Gerald has held various positions including Staff Accountant, Manager of Accounting, Chief Financial Officer and Controller. After graduating from Duquesne University, Mr. DiFrango began his career with the accounting firm, Price Waterhouse, where he specialized in servicing small and medium sized clients of the firm. Subsequent to Price Waterhouse, Gerald worked for a large national envelope manufacturer. However, Gerald has spent the vast majority of his 26 years experience with small/medium sized businesses including a steel refractory company, an importer and a real estate company. Because of the blend of Gerald's experience with many different companies in many different industries, he has a unique understanding of accounting, finance, systems development and taxes that apply to all business entities.
