Annette M. Testa has spent more than 25 years in the publishing field, working as an editor of both magazines and books. She began her career in Washington, DC, as a magazine editor for the 70001 Training & Employment Institute and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters magazines, and moved on to work as a textbook editor with McGraw-Hill, American Medical Association, Paul H. Brookes Publishing Company, and other publishers across the country.
With her expertise in the publishing field, Annette was instrumental in launching more than five start-up publications in the Pittsburgh area before starting her own publishing company in 2003 (Sail & Anchor Publishing). Under Sail & Anchor, Annette created and published northern Pittsburgh’s family-focused magazine entitled Kidz ’n Communities.
Annette graduated from Duquesne University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a minor in Marketing.
