The discussion centers on the prestigious SBA awards for exceptional entrepreneurs. Nominations are open and accepted by contacting the Western Pennsylvania SBA District Office.
The Western Pennsylvania Small Business Administration (SBA) is accepting nominations for the region’s Small Business Person of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year and Exporter of the Year. This spring, the Western Pennsylvania SBA will set aside three days to honor the winners of these distinguished awards.
During the Working PArts program, Steve and Carl will talk about what small businesses in western Pennsylvania are experiencing compared to other parts of the country and the various ways the SBA supports small business owners.
Also being interviewed on the Working PArts radio program on Saturday will be 2013 SBA Exporter of the Year Guy Berkebile, CEO of Guy Chemical Company and 2013 SBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year Jonathan Miller, President of Dimples. Each will detail the way they began their business and share their advice with other small business owners.
